April 5- Dave’s Heater and A/C Box Repairs
We’ve started doing some minor fiberglass repairs to Dave’s Heater and A/C box. The boxes in the 1967 Mustang models and onward had a box that contained both the heater core and the A/C unit. There are a few cracks and damages to the box, as is very common in Mustangs, but that requires just a little fiberglassing and then it should be in great shape again.
April 7- Jolliff’s Wiring Repairs
We’ve got Jolliff’s Mach I Clone in our shop for a little while to do some repairs on it to make sure it’s in tip-top shape before it’s sold. We’ve pulled the interior and the dash and have repaired the entire wiring system, which had a few shorts in it, including the ignition switch. We also checked the wiring to the speakers, and we’ve found a few pinches and problems, so we’ll be re-wiring the speakers in the rear and side. The dash pad, as you can see in these photos, is pretty heavily damaged and we recommend replacement.
Match 19- Cathy’s Metal Work
We’ve started cutting out the rusted-away floorpans in Cathy’s Convertible. There’s a lot of metal work to be done, and this is just the beginning, but we love tackling the big jobs and turning old rusty cars in beautiful, restored Mustangs!
March 9- Dave’s Floorpan Repairs
Here are the photos of Dave’s repaired floorpans, after Tim has done the welding and begun smoothing out the metal. The damages were minor, so the work we had to do to get the floorpans back in excellent condition was minimal. Afterward, we went ahead with seam sealing the under-dash area to prevent water infiltration.
