There’s a lot going on here! We’ve removed the front valance and both fenders on Cathy’s Mustang, and are showing the condition of the metal as much as we can. We also drained and removed the radiator and have just pulled the engine.

We’re getting into the thick of it now, priming down all of Tom’s parts that we’re going to refinish and repaint, so they’ll look great. We’re doing some engine compartment work in addition to the dash and interior components, such as the radiator fan, which as you can see we’ve grinding away all the grime and paint and will be repainting it ASAP.

Here’s TimBo and Co wrapping up Patrick’s Mustang and preparing it to ship. Tim is installing the exhaust, headers to mufflers to tips, as well as clamping down the radiator hoses in this photos. They are also installing the necessary bits of the interior, so that we can drive the Mustang when necessary and Pat can take it home! We’re only doing the necessary bits because Patrick plans on acid-dipping the Mustang in Germany, so there’s no need to install everything.

They are continuing to install parts new and old. The rear windshield opening needed to be sanded to remove any old glue before the windshield glass is put back in. Tim also installed the new radiator and put in the old for shipment. We also put in the Monte Carlo bar.

Shawn began disassembling the gear box. Some of the gears are stripped and that was causing a popping noise when turning the steering wheel. More on that to come!
