January 8- More of Robin’s Parts
January 7- Robin’s Disassembly, Parts
We’ve begun the disassembly of Robin’s Fastback, and have taken photos of the parts as we organize them and create the project sheet, which will let Robin know which parts are good, which need replacing or restoration, etc.
December 31- Laurens’s Interior Installation
We’re installing Laurens’s wiring harness and heater box and plenum now, as well as painting parts the appropriate black finish.
December 30- Laurens’s Firewall Pad and Parts Prep
Pat’s installing Laurens’s firewall pad and did some parts prep on a bunch of other stuff, including priming and painting headlight buckets, windshield washer motor mounts, etc for installation.
December 22- Laurens’ Parts Sorting and Glass Prep
Here’s Big Chief sorting through Laurens’ removed parts to determine which ones need cleaning/restoring before they are installed back onto the Mustang. Timbo is also repairing some of the damaged and missing studs that the windshield clips clip onto before we put the glass back in, and we are cleaning up a lot of interior parts in preparation for the re-assembly.
December 18- Laurens’s Metalwork & Parts
We started pulling out all of Laurens’s parts and will be sorting them for those that need cleaning and those that are ready to be re-installed as we prep to re-assemble Laurens’s Mustang. Tim also did some grinding on the trunk lid and hood to get out the little bits of rust, then he etch primed it to keep it protected.
December 11- Biff’s Glass and Parts Cleaning
Here’s Savannah cleaning some of Biff’s parts so they can be tagged and bagged and put away while the body is sandblasted, as well as Pat and Tim removing the windshields and wrapping them up for storage. Also some more tagged and bagged parts.
December 4- Phil’s Parts Packup
We’ve received a large order of parts from NPD (check them all out here) and have begun packing them up in preparation for their overseas journey.
December 1- Phil’s Used Parts
Here are pics of us loading Phil’s Boss with the used parts that aren’t on the Mustang but that Phil wants to hold on to.
