Here we are! Big Chief’s doing the sandblasting of Biff’s Shelby now, the whole frame! As you can see, a lot of the metal is still great and very solid, so we’ll be doing more minor repairs than full sheet-changes. There are a few imperfections, some tears or pitting, as well as some significant Bondo-ing on the fenders, which will need some repair. However, overall, Biff’s got a great ‘Stang.

We also have some more photos of the sand-blasting process on the way, as soon as we can get them together and post them up.

January 18, 19- Biff’s Rotisserie Installation

Well, today’s the day! Biff’s Shelby is ready to go up onto the rotisserie, and we’ll start sand-blasting it and getting rid of all the old paint and grime (though probably not much rust!) to get this baby down to the good stuff, the pure, solid steel.

Here’s a few more pictures of Biff’s disassembly. We have multiple projects going on right now so we didn’t get too much done with his Shelby today: we took off the door panels and a few other things (see the stuff on the table).

Here’s Mitchell taking the interior of Biff’s Shelby apart. He’s working on the heater box, the interior panel trims and the headliner, and we’re still finding tons of good, original parts that we will definitely re-used.
