January 19- Cathy’s Close-Up on Disassembly
The trim and interior are coming out, and so we’re getting a good look at what’s going on underneath: the rubber seals for the glass are pretty much shot, so they’re going to need replacing, though fortunately that’s not an expensive purchase. There is some rust up higher on the Mustang, such as on the windshield frames or under the dash, but it’s not too bad, and won’t need a lot of metalwork to fix.

December 22- Cathy’s Disassembly, Engine Pull
There’s a lot going on here! We’ve removed the front valance and both fenders on Cathy’s Mustang, and are showing the condition of the metal as much as we can. We also drained and removed the radiator and have just pulled the engine.
December 21- Cathy’s Disassembly
We’re really getting down on disassembling Cathy’s Mustang, and though we’re making headway, we are finding a lot of rust and metal damage. This one’s going to be in the metalwork phase for quite a while–we’ll be doing a lot of full-on welding to replace sheets of metal (just lead filling won’t cut it on this one). As you can see, we’re wrapping up the parts we pull off and have done quite a bit already.
