January 15- Laurens’s Carpetting and Fender
Sorry about the delay on updates! Things have been hectic here–we’re working really hard to get Laurens’s Fastback done in time and I’ve been busy dealing with a lot of emails that have been coming in from people interested in all the new Mustangs we’ve been putting up on our website.
We’re laying the carpet now, and finishing up the metalwork on the front fender–you can see where we etch-primed and then grey-primed the finished fender for re-assembly. The rear quarter panel is nearing completion, you can see close-ups here.
October 1- Tom’s Interior Upholstery
Tom’s new upholstery came in! It’s teal and white to match his new exterior color and has the Pony stylings to boot. We also bought a center console with compartmend and cupholders, and new stuffing too, so the seats will be comfortable as well as beautiful. We can’t wait to get the carpet in and these new parts installed–Tom’s Mustang’s going to have a totally different aesthetic, but we think it’s going to come out great.
September 4- Tom’s Carpet
Here’s a close-up of the carpetting we purchased for Tom’s kickpanels. It is a very close match, and they’ll look great once we apply them to the kickpanels. Check it out!
April 26-May 12 Installation
Tim and Shawn installed the clutch and reservoir regulator this week. They also worked on the headliner, reinstalled the glove box, and received Pat’s CJ Pony order. Our new guy, Mitchell, helped reinstall the carpet and seats, put in the rear part of the exhaust system, and started the fuel tank installation.
