Now that we have Robin’s Mustang significantly disassembled, we could take a bunch of inspection photos to show Robin the condition of his Mustang, such as the condition of the body metal and the chrome, etc. The Mustang is, overall, solid, and most of the body metal and trim will probably be re-usable, though there is some surface rust and deeper rust that will need to be ground out–and may require some metalwork to fill in the holes afterward.

We’ve begun the disassembly of Robin’s Fastback, and have taken photos of the parts as we organize them and create the project sheet, which will let Robin know which parts are good, which need replacing or restoration, etc.

We’ve pulled Ammar’s engine and have begun cleaning his engine compartment. We started with a pressure-washing and have begun taking apart various things to clean them more thoroughly, such as the water pump and the harmonic balancer.

We are pressure washing Ammar’s engine, after sealing off all the necessary ports, and will be dressing it up within the next few days so we can make Ammar’s Mustang really shine!

We’re pulling Ammar’s engine to do some cleaning and dressing-up. The last guy we had do this work for us didn’t really meet our standards, so we’re going to either do this one ourselves or get one of our trusted partners to handle it.

Ammar decided to have us do some more restoration work on his Mustang to get it in tip-top condition, after we found some rust and damage on the frame and undercarriage. Here are some of our inspection pictures.
