Started seam seal of undercarriage; Note- used brushable Eastwood seam seal black; Made about 1 1/2” seal, very important; OEM caulked wheel wells; OEM sealed the pan seam; OEM’d sub frame supports, small seam bead; IMG 0377-0379; Note- we used Evercoat OEM bead by Maxim; Very expensive; Inspected paint lines for engine compartment black up to the cowls; Used ’69Jared as pattern; Started top coat; Did wheel wells, trunk area, undercarriage and engine compartment; Very nice job and very nice color;
Metal treated big block exhaust hangers; Treated and primed seat belt brackets for rear.
2011-01-26 MachLene: Priming Undercarriage
Prepped undercarriage for top coat; Removed seam seal; Ground, sanded and prepped undercarriage; Note- original color was found on bottom of ‘Stang and original undercoat; Removed all undercoat; Epoxy treated primed bottom of carl IMG 0228-0239;
