Completed assembly of dolly;

Continued work on exhaust;  Big Chief found error in exhaust mounting;  Cross over plate would not tighten, was binding on the exhaust;  Also exhaust was binding on clutch rod spring;  See IMG 0163;  Loosened exhaust pipes from manifold;  Loosened exhaust clamps;  Removed pipe from first exhaust connection;  Used Vaseline on pipe joints and sanded each joint with fine sand paper;  Note- the problem was the joints were not fitting tight enough in order to allow precise pipe alignment, taking pressure out of the reinforcement plate and elsewhere down the exhaust line;  This correction worked perfectly and the exhaust fell into place;  Reconnected crossover reinforcement plate, reconnected mufflers to exhaust, adjusted out perfectly;  Note-  much, much better fit and alignment;  Connected and tightened clamps, both before and after the crossover reinforcement plate;  Tightened and torqued crossover reinforcement plate to correct pressure, 100 ft lbs per inch;  Connected rear exhaust pipes to rear mufflers and left in place;

Welded right hand dog ear back into place and he and Ed pre-fitted fender;
