September 22- Adnan’s Carburetor Rebuild
Here’s the newest addition to our Mustang Restoration Crew, Pat “P-Dog,” installing Adnan’s newly rebuilt carburetor! It was rebuilt by an independent contractor whom we really trust, and boy did it clean up nicely! On top of that, the engine runs great now. Check out the installation!
September 19- Pat’s Parts
Here are a few parts we needed to properly finish up Pat’s Mustang. We have shock tower brackets, radiator clamps, and a bit more to get everything mounted just right.
September 26- Pat’s Engine Crank
Alright, here it is! After much patient waiting, Patrick’s gonna get to hear his baby growl! Personally, we think that some of the engine’s great sound was lost over the video feed, but hey, it still sounds good, and it runs WAY better than before we got our hands on her. Check it out!
September 19- Biff’s Mega Tag and Bag
Wow! Here’s almost 300 pictures from Biff’s disassembly. In fact, there are so many we had to divide them up into three separate slideshows. We are taking parts off, inspecting them to determine if they will be restored or replaced, storing them, and building Biff’s Project Sheet simultaneously. But here’s the great news: Big Chief himself has been looking at these parts, and most of them are in excellent condition and definitely re-usable, and we’re finding serial numbers all over the place, which means TONS of original parts! This Mustang is looking to be a great find for Biff–we’re eager to get to the work ourselves.
September 16- Allen’s Sheetmetal Parts
Here’s Timbo receiving in a bunch of new parts for Allen’s Mustang, including entire floorpans and shock tower aprons! Allen wants to do a lot of metalwork on his Mustang to get it in prime shape and get rid of any rust. The metal from Mustangs Unlimited is in excellent shape and is primered black, ready to go.
September 14, 16- Pat’s Assembly
Here’s some pictures of our re-assembly work in preparation to ship Patrick’s Mustang overseas. Here we are doing the last of the engine hook-up, such as the pulleys and the shock braces, as well as re-installing the steering components.
September 12- Biff’s Big Tag and Bag
Here’s a big update for you guys! We’ve taken off tons of parts off of Biff’s Shelby, and we’re in deep on the disassembly phase of the restoration. Check out the two slideshows of all the parts we’ve taken off, categorized and labelled for future restoration and use.
September 5, 8, 11- Wrapping Up Patrick’s
Here’s TimBo and Co wrapping up Patrick’s Mustang and preparing it to ship. Tim is installing the exhaust, headers to mufflers to tips, as well as clamping down the radiator hoses in this photos. They are also installing the necessary bits of the interior, so that we can drive the Mustang when necessary and Pat can take it home! We’re only doing the necessary bits because Patrick plans on acid-dipping the Mustang in Germany, so there’s no need to install everything.
September 12- Tom’s Paint Progress
We ran by Street Rod Garage to see the progress that Rob and Sam are making on Tom’s Mustang, and as you can see, they’re really getting going! They’ve sanded away a lot of layers of old paint and clear coating to get down where its smooth so they can re-paint and clear coat the Mustang all over again. We’re really happy with what we’ve seen so far of their work, both on this Mustang and on their past projects, so we’re optimistic.
September 10- Ian’s Rack and Pinion Parts
Hey all! We got this parts in about two weeks ago for Ian’s Rack and Pinion steering system upgrade, check them out.
