August 13- Disassembly
Allen came down from Augusta, Georgia to assess and help with his project. We had a great couple of days disassembling the coupe.
August 17- Parts Order Mustang Unlimited
Got another order from Mustangs Unlimited this weekend. This stuff is pretty much just going in the Mustang for shipment. Almost there!
August 11-12 Headers and more Steering Column
Dale and Mitchell worked on the header installation. They are also putting everything back in place for the engine to be installed. We are having trouble with the steering column, but it is ready now! There were a few parts missing to correctly install the steering wheel and to make the horn functional.
August 14- Welcome Allen

August 8-10 Disassembly
We were continuing to ready the Mustang for transport to be repainted. We removed the rubber seals and are doing a more complete disassembly.
August 4-5 Engine Painting
We primed and painted the engine and motor mounts along with Patrick’s engine. Dale, the Big Chief visiting brother, also sanded down the front shock tower spring cover and will be priming and painting it soon.
August 3-5 Parts and Work
Here is one of the latest orders from Summit Racing. Check out those headers! There is a little surface rust on the inside of the header tube. It came from Summit that way and should be no problem. That will burn off when the headers are in use.
We got the rear windshield firmly installed. Now, we have to wait 5 days before we test for leaks. Then, we can put the trim on! They also primed and painted the engine and motor mounts. It’s gonna look awesome when its all done! and wait ’til you hear it running! We are set to reassemble and put the motor back in the engine compartment. Finally, there are some photos of the dash work. They are putting in the steering column, heater box, and other dash components for shipment.
August 6- Interior Disassembly
They got the interior disassembled today for repainting and inspection. The floor pans look great. There is some reconditioning that will be needed in the future, but its ready road!
August 5- Inspection

August 5- Coming out of storage!
We got the Shelby from our storage unit today. We will begin a through inspection on it soon! It was looking good and is sitting pretty in front of MOO’s shop.
