August 19-23 Engine Install and Brake Lines

The guys reinstalled the engine and transmission. They had a little trouble with the engine mounts, so there are some photos of those specifically. They also hooked up the brake lines and worked on the steering section through the undercarriage. As you can see, we had a couple of recruits for bootcamp. The Big Chief’s niece came out for a couple of days before school started. Ian also came for a visit to work on his Bullitt and brought his 2 boys to teach them the ropes. They singlehandedly installed that engine! OK maybe not, but they will next time!
Here are a few more photos of the engine mounts. They used these and older photos to get get the problem solved.
