What makes this 'Stang so great is it is an award winner! Rob, the seller, has owned this lifelong love of his since 1977. He has a large shop on his property where he enjoys restoring vehicles and antiques and usually has 3 - 4 projects going at a time. He put his convertible through a ground up restoration over the period of 1987 to 1993. Rob did most of the restoration himself, and had the Mustang painted by a professional car restorer. The motor (not original) was totally rebuilt and has a mild cam; the mileage on it is correct. All parts on the 'Stang were either reconditioned or replaced. The floor pans were replaced, sandblasted and undercoated. Upon completion of the restoration, the Mustang placed first in a Class MOTAA Show in 1993! Since the restoration, only 5100 miles have been put on the 'Stang since then. Its features: a 289 engine with Edlebrock 4 barrel carburetor, 3 speed transmission with center console, and factory dual exhaust. The Mustang sits on Firestone Red Line tires. Extras include an alarm system and a JVC radio/CD stereo, valve covers and air cleaner. All electrical components work great! The paint and the interior are in very good condition except as noted in the detail section below. Newer updates, replacements include the clutch plate, the brakes have new calipers and pads, the Edelbrock 4 barrel is two years old. A large record of receipts comes with the Mustang.

These are our more detailed inspection pictures, which include any visible damages and customized extras. Rob has noted the following items: a small crack in the dash, a couple of small rust bubbles in front of the left rear tire, a tear on the top interior liner. The speedometer shows 5-10 miles per hour slower than actual. The fuel gauge is not accurate and needs a fuel sending unit.Please examine them carefully before making your decision.
