Let Me Tell You About the Owner...

Mitch and his father are Ford men, through and through!  Mitch's father worked for Ford Motor Company for about twenty-five years before he retired, and Mitch was born in 1965 and raised just outside of Detroit.  Mitch always wanted to work for Ford Motor Company, and eventually got the job back in 1997.  Mitch participated in two product launches, in 1997 for the Ford Escort in Mexico (which earned him enough overtime money to purchase this Mustang) and in 2005 for the newly-designed Mustang!  Unfortunately, Mitch lost his job in 2006 to a big lay-off, and that's when he decided to move to Phoenix, Arizona and set up roots in a new part of the country.  The new house desperately needs some remodeling, and selling this Mustang will get Mitch the money he needs.

What makes this 'Stang so great is that it is a 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible in good, daily driver condition.  It is a Michigan Mustang originally, so it has extensive undercarraige rust and damage which needs attention.  It has its original 200 1v V6 engine (with about 150,000 miles on it, though it may have been rebuilt with no odometer reset) and a 3-speed manual transmission, which is VIN spec-matching but a rebuilt replacement.  It is a solid driver, so you can use it as a daily driver and tolerate the floorpans for a while if you like, or you can get this baby started on a full restore.
