MustangOnlyOne Summary:

What makes this 'Stang so great is that it is a modified hi-po 1968 Ford Mustang Coupe that has undergone an 8-cylinder conversion from its original T-code 6-cylinder design.   It has a 302 V8 rebuilt about ten years ago, an Edelbrock 4v 600 cfm carb, as well as a T-56 6-Speed transmission, an MSD 6AL ignition system, MSD Distributor and MSD wires.   It has also been equipped with an electric fan drawing 4500 cfm of air, and an aluminum racing radiator to keep things cool.   It originally came with drum brakes all around, but Chris has since added discs from a 1970 Ford Mustang up front as well as those of a 1995 Lincoln in the rear.   The suspension is KYB Shocks and 550 lbs springs in the front and Air Shocks in the rear.   The rear end has been upgraded to accomodate the eight-cylinders and is currently a Ford 8.8 inch unit from a 91 Mustang with 3.27 gears.   While it was originally automatic with a C-4 transmission, having the 6-Speed overdrive modern transmission makes the car more fun, spirited, and unique - all with the added bonus of significantly improved gas mileage.   More recently, a Steeroids Rack and Pinion steering system has been added, as well as new Global West tubular lower control arms and new chrome IDIDIT tilt steering wheel.

This is, overall, a hi-po custom driver with no shortage of power, performance and fun -- however, the paint could be freshened up a bit, and while the interior is original and in good condition the driver’s side seat back could use minor stitching and a new pair of floor-mats would make it a street-show Mustang.   The undercarriage is solid and free of dangerous rust, though it may have some surface rust.

He needs to sell and so will take any serious offer into consideration.
