What makes this 'Stang so great is that it is a 1965 Ford Mustang 2+2 Fastback that is almost completely restored with numerous GT options, including the dual trumpet exhaust tips and fog lights. It has an A-Code 289 4v V8 and C4 automatic transmission, both of which run great. Don restored the interior, including the floorpans, carpet, sun visors, etc, and almost all the chrome on the car. It has aftermarket CD player and all the gauges work great. According to him, the only things left to do are a few very small cosmetic things. The paintjob is a Candyapple Red base/clear coat job which is very new and looks fabulous. The undercarriage is solid and rust-free, free of damage. The body lines are straight, no waves in the metal, and all panels are well-aligned. For overall structural integrity and preservation, MustangOnlyOne gives this car a 10 out of 10 points as a high-end driver which Don strove to keep matching its VIN specs--note, however, that the door plate was long gone by the time Don got it, so all he has to go by is the shock tower VIN, which is an A-Code.
