Mark met Frank out in New Mexico with his recently-restored 1972 Convertible.  Frank has had this car for about three years, it having been restored about two years prior to him purchasing it.  When he's not driving it around town, he keeps it in his yard under a car cover, so he's staved off the rust but not the dust!  That's alright though; dust comes right off.

Thank you for helping us save this beauty!  She needs to be in the right hands: someone that will garage her, drive her, and love her.

MustangOnlyOne Summary:

 

This 1972 Ford Mustang Convertible was restored about 5 years ago and has pretty much every option available installed, except tilt steering wheel and power windows.  It comes with a 351 2v V8 Cleveland hooked up to dual exhaust, Magnum wheels with new tires, a 9" rear end and disc brakes all around.  Inside, the car has a Mustang Cassette/Radio, power steering, a Rimblo steering wheel, A/C (which needs charging), and new rubber all over.  The convertible top is power-operated.  The interior is in very good condition, with some mild wear and dust from use (this car is currently kept outside under a car cover).  The undercarraige is solid and mostly rust-free (some minor rust on places such as the front suspension, nothing serious) and appears to still have the original factory undercoat treatment.  For overall frame preservation and reliability, MustangOnlyOne gives this a 10 out of 10 points as a daily driver, as it is completely original and runs great.  For overall quality and performance, MustangOnlyOne gives this car an 8.5 out of 10 points as a daily driver, as it does have some mild wear from use, but this is to be expected.  This is a grear daily driver car, very solid and sure to go for years to come.
