Let Me Tell You About the Owner...

 

 

John and Randy run a Mustang shop out in Arizona, and when Doug met them they were eager and ready to let us help them sell some of their great Mustangs!  As you can see, they own tons of clones, originals, restorations, and restomods.  While out there, Doug photographed numerous cars, including John's very own premiere 1967 Shelby Eleanor Clone, Becka's 1966 Street Rod Mustang, and a 1967 Fastback GT Project Car.  They started working on this 1965 quite a while back and have put thousands of dollars into her, including a Holley 4v Carburetor, and a fresh, rebuilt, numbers-matching 289.  They estimate that another $15,000 will be enough to finish the job, which they would be willing to do for anyone interested in funding their work.

What makes this 'Stang so unique is that it is a numbers-matching A-Code 1965 Mustang Fastback, including a 289 Holley 4v V8, 4-Speed Toploader Manual Transmission, and Pony Interior.  John and Randy have started this baby and put a lot of money into her, but it still needs some money and labor to get the job completely done, which John and Randy would be happy to do for anyone who would be willing to fund their work.  This car has brand-new dual exhaust installed, as well as completely rebuilt front and rear suspension and drum brakes, and has had the rust-free undercarriage treated with Reptar Bedliner.  The 8" Rear End was also rebuilt with 279 gear ratios, and the entire body of the car is painted in black primer.  The car can drive as is, but is not street-legal.  The body work, undercarriage, exhaust system, suspension, and engine compartment are all completely restored.  The main thing left to finish on this car is the interior and front bumper/grille/headlights.  This car is extremely well-preserved with all original numbers-matching specs, is a rust-free Arizona car with title, and ready for someone to take over ownership and finish the restoration.  MustangOnlyOne gives this car a 10 out of 10 points as a project/restoration car, as it is the perfect car for someone looking to finish the job and have a beautiful, valuable, and powerful classic Mustang.
