Let Me Tell You About the Owner...
Mark met Ryan and his family out in Albuquerque, where Ryan's 1967 Mustang sits in his father's yard. Ryan bought the car about three years ago in San Angelo, Texas, while he was serving in the Air Force, and had brought it home with him to Albuquerque with the intention of restoring it. However, his life got a bit ahead of his plans, and he soon found himself with a 1999 C-Series BMW, so his Mustang got put on the back burner, and he has decided to sell it. In fact, he hasn't driven it much in the time he has owned it, and it shows: the interior is in near perfect condition, extremely well-preserved, and the car cranks and runs smooth. His little brothers weren't too happy when they learned that he was selling this baby--they were hoping to get it for themselves in a few years!
MustangOnlyOne Summary:
What makes this 'Stang so unique is that it is a numbers-matching 1967 Ford Mustang Coupe with a Pony Package Interior that is in excellent, extremely well-preserved condition, both inside and out! This car is a daily driver that has been in the family for the past few years, and has been very well taken care of--it only has 67,000 miles on it. It also has a 289 2v V8 and a 3-Speed Auto Transmission, so it's great for someone looking for a classic V8 Mustang without the high price tag of a hi-po Pony but also isn't a wimpy straight-6. Being a car of Texas and New Mexico, this car is rust-free, except for a bit on the exhaust pipes, but that is normal and not damaging to the car overall. It has Air Conditioning, which needs to be charged, and Power Steering, but no Power Brakes. For overall frame preservation and reliability, MustangOnlyOne gives this car a 10 out of 10 points, as it is virtually all original and not restored, though it did have a paintjob a few years back. For overall quality and performance, MustangOnlyOne gives this car an 8 out of 10 points, as it still needs a tranny and engine rebuild, as well as some rust treatment on the exhaust system, in order to be in true cherry condition, though for a daily or casual driver car these things would not be necessary. On top of all that, Ryan is willing to let this baby go at an awesome price, so don't miss your chance to own a modest but classy '67 Mustang.

Sold! Charles is waiting in Pennsylvania!
Well, this sale was closed right around winter time, as you can see from the pictures. Those guys look a little cold! Ryan and Mark, our representative, did all the paperwork to close the sale on this Mustang. Mark also supervised the loading for transport to Charles all the way in Pennsylvania. We wanted to have pictures of the loading, but it was dark by the time that they got everything wrapped up. Have fun with your "new classic", Charles.
