Laurens' Restoration Page
Summary
This '67 is headed to Holland! But right now, Laurens' Fastback is coming from North Carolina to Florida for some finishing work. Here in Florida, we will be replacing the bondo'ed rear quarter and repainting. We are also replacing some minor parts including the fly wheel cover and kick plates. Check back for photos and progress reports.

Stage 1: Getting it to Florida!
Here is the Fastback being loaded and unloaded. We met Ronnie, the seller of the car, when we picked it up. He's a really nice guy who loves Mustangs! They also have an '06 Mustang once driven by Dale Jarrett, Nascar racer that drove #88 at the time. The car has some amazing power. He has put a lot of time into this Mustang. The engine has been rebuilt and the car is rust free! Most of the the body work and undercarriage work has been completed.
Testdrive
OK, here is our first attempt at video recording a testdrive...Be afraid! Well, its not too bad. The fastback gets up to 60 mph pretty easily with the 302 engine in it. The brakes and transmission work great. We didn't have many problems at all on this drive.
Inspection
We've got pictures of the parts that still need restoration. These go along with the estimate that Laurens received.
